Hello all! I'm so excited to add this space to my website where I can share recent projects and keep you all up to date. I'm glad you're hear!
If you're going to be following along, I should introduce myself more fully. I don't love talking about myself, so I'll keep it short and sweet. My name is Sarah, as you probably know, and I am a freelance photographer and artist based in Northern California. I currently live in Vacaville, California with my wonderful partner and our big old dog, Kumo. Vacaville is a pretty small town, but our location gives us amazing nearby access to the California Coast, Napa Valley, and the Sierra Nevadas. Given our love for outdoor adventure, this is a great spot for us.
I was born and raised in Fresno, California, which is smack dab in the middle of the state. I moved to Davis, California, for college and have stayed up north since then! At Davis I studied Music and received my Bachelor's Degree in Musicology (History, Theory, and Ethnomusicology) with a minor in Human Development. I spent the next 7 years balancing my career in Music Education with my photography business. I'm very lucky to have gotten to pursue so many creative avenues in my work.
I also have an intense love of travel. Lucky for me, that goes perfectly with my passion for photography. I'm incredibly fortunate to have traveled to some far corners of the world, including Istanbul, Tanzania, Honduras, Costa Rica, Ireland, and Italy. While the list of places I've visited is long, my list of places I WANT to see is endless!
